The Theme of my next class on March 20th is Hot Air Balloons and Backgrounds using kraft paper and the Cuttle Bug and Big Shot. If you would like to join this class please visit my website http://www.astampineveryhand.com/ Below you will find two sample cards that we will be making in this class.
This card was inspired by a card in Paper Crafts Magazine
This is a Stampscapes card using kraft paper and hot air balloons stamps. The balloons and background were stamped on glossy paper. The mountains were stamped on kraft paper and double popped to give more dimension. The large balloon was single popped and the small balloon was placed flat on the background. The background was brayered on and then stamped.

This is Flower Soft
I am writing a column for the Examiner
I have been preparing for my next class on Sun. Feb. 20 at the Stables Community Center in Seymour, TN. This is a technique class. We are working with Outlines posy stamps, Flower Soft, Black Magic and Pop-up card techniques which I got from Splitcoaststampers. I will post pics. of these cards later today.
I have also written my first column for the Examiner Knoxville. I picked paper crafting so as to appeal to a larger community of crafters. Although my main interest is rubber stamping and scrapbooking I am trying to branch out into any kind of paper crafts. My first column is on getting started making your own greeting cards. I will do a column about the store where I work (Your Scrapbook Superstore). Then I am hoping you will give me ideas about what you would like to see in my column. Please interact here and at the Examiner! I really need you comments! You can write you own column for the Examiner on any topic you chose and from any area of the country. I hope you will use me name as your re-feral. Check out my column http://www.examiner.com/paper-craft-in-knoxville/janet-winkle

Stampscapes Class on Jan. 23
My class last Sunday was my best class yet!!! We did four cards. Three were pre-stamped and we worked on the coloring technique with the colorbox stylus. The last card is one we did from start to finish. Stamp placement and coloring. I am including a picture of the that card.
I also have some pictures from my stampscapes class last summer which were taken by my very talented friend Jamie Miller.
My next class Feb. 20 will be four different techniques with flowers as the main theme. If you would like to join my class please visit my website for all the information http://www.astampineveryhand.com/

Preparing for my next class.
I am teaching a class next Sunday and I have been busy preparing. This class I will be teaching a coloring technique using Stampscapes Rubber Stamps. We will work on pre-stamped images and also do one card start to finish. This is one of my most popular classes. If you would like more info visit the class section of my website http://www.astampineveryhand.com/ you can also pay for the class there using you paypal account.
I also would like to share a card and a page I have done recently using Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink and Stampscapes rubber stamps. I did the polished stone technique on the background of both the card and the page. I heat set the ink because I was working on glossy paper. Then I stamped and embossed with white embossing powder the pine tree several time as well as the words at the top.
