I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about my classes at the 26th Stampaway USA in Sharonville, Ohio just north of Cincinnati at the Sharonville Convention Center.

I am teaching 4 classes this year and I think these are some of my best designs.  I am working in a larger format in one class, with die cuts in two other classes and with a great paper called Star Dreams in the 4th class.  There is something for everyone in these 4 classes.

My first class is on Wed. Aug. 8, 2018.  The title is Stampscapes Easel Cards 5:30 to 7:30 p.m..  

Are they cards?  Are they art?  Easel cards are a beautiful way for people to enjoy your stamped works of art.  Your will create 3 different cards in the class.

My second class is on Thurs. Aug. 9, 2018.  The title is Stampscapes White Christmas 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Are you ready to learn a new way to use your Stampscapes rubber stamps?  In past classes, Janet has used glossy paper to help you create beautiful scenic cards, but in this class, you will be working with something new and different to create beautiful results.  You will be making 3 different-sized cards.  

                                                                      

                                                                                                                           

My third class is Thurs. Aug. 9, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The title is Stampscapes "A Day At The Lake"

Are you looking for a Piece of art that's a conversation starter?  Class attendees in the past have asked to do more large-scene stamping.  Here is the answer to this challenge!  It is an 8.5" x 11" project.

My forth class is Thurs. Aug. 9, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  The title is Stampscapes Tie Cards for Men.

The men in our lives are important, but it seems as if we are always searching for the perfect card design to suit them.  These cards are great way for you to expand the masculine card designs in you repertoire.  In this class you will make three different tie-theme cards.

STAMPAWAY USA CLASSES IN CINCINNATI AUG. 9, 10, 11, 2017

I will be teaching 3 classes this year at the 25 anniversary of this convention in Sharonville, Ohio outside of Cincinnati.  Please visit the website at Stampaway USA to get your class registration form and print out the class schedule and class descriptions.

My first class is Stampscapes Seasons Cards colored with Copic Markers Wed. Aug. 9th 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Fairfield Inn, 2nd. floor.  These beautiful cards reflect the season of winter, spring/summer and fall.  Coloring with Copic markers allows you to shade and blend with alcohol ink.  We will accent the cards with Stickles and clear Wink of Stella. There is list of pens you need to bring to the class along with other items check the class description on the website.

My second class is Stamp Etching Flower Cards Thursday Aug. 10th, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sharonville Convention Center.  How many open outline stamps do you have and never use?  This technique will give you new and great ideas for those stamps and have you looking for new ones to etch using Marvy LePens.  You will make 4 cards and embellish them with Stickles and Wink of Stella.  Check the class description on the website for all the items you need to bring for this class

My third class is my favorite and most ambitious Stampscapes every.  It is called Stampscapes Christmas Explosion Box.  This class is 3 hours long from 8:00 to 11:00 A.M..  I know this is early but you will be fresh and ready to do is amazing craft.  I am using new stamps and stamps I have never used in a class before.  This can be a gift, a Christmas decoration, or a gift card holder they will never expect.  Check the website for items you need to bring to this class.

STAMP ESCAPE 2017 APRIL 21, 22,23 MUSIC ROAD HOTEL AND CONVENTION CENTER, PIGEON FORGE, TN

I will be doing 4 classes are Stamp Escape this year.  The event is being held at the Music Road Hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN.  There are 31 classes being presented by 8 teachers along with a make and take party called Stamp The Night Away.  You will do 10 projects and get a chance to meet all the teachers.  This event is on Friday night.  The classes start a noon on Friday and go until Sunday afternoon.
This year I will teach Copic Marker Instructional on Friday at noon where you will learn how to use and purchase these fantastic markers.  Sat. at 11:45 I will teach Stampscapes Christmas Card Book. This class will give you an introduction in coloring Stampscapes images with a colorbox stylus and making this fun book card.  Next on Sat. afternoon at 2:30 is a new class for me called Stampscapes Smoky Strong with Copic Markers.  You will make 3 cards coloring with these unique alcohol ink markers. This is a great class open to all stamping levels.  Then on Sunday we start the day at 9:00 with Birds and Butterfly Napkin Collage Cards.  You will make 2 cards using PPA Perfect Paper Adhesive, napkins, glitter and metallic paint.  This class will open up a world of creating cards with the beautiful napkins you can find in Tuesday Morning and other stores.

I would like to tell you a about a class I am teaching next Sunday Feb. 21st at the Stables Community Center off Boyds Creek 2606 Seattle Slew Way here in Sevierville, TN. from 2 to 5 p.m.

This will be my first class for 2016 so why not think spring.  In this class you will make 3 very unique cards sure to brighten someones day.  There are 2 tri fold cards and one pop-up box card with the theme of butterflies and blooms.

JOIN ME AT STAMP ESCAPE

Just wanted to update you on the event that I am helping to organize called Stamp Escape.

This is the second annual Stamp Escape which will be held in Pigeon Forge TN. at the Music Road Hotel and Convention Center.  There is a discount room code for the hotel at the Stamp Escape website or facebook page.  The dates are April 21, 22, and 23, 2016.  There will be classes everyday and a make and take party called Stamp the Night Away on Friday evening April 22.  You can purchase your tickets for the classes and party at the Stamp Escape website.

We have eight great teachers this year three returning which include myself Janet Winkle from  A Stamp In Every Hand, Barbara Bruder from Art and Soul Creations, Pat Niemuth from Northwoods Rubber Stamps.  Our new teachers ar Donna Maligno from Craft-Dee Bowz, Amy Broady a Certified Zentangle Teacher from Knoxville, TN., Debbie Marcinkiewiez from Paper Sweeties, Sandra Paynter Washburn from The Art of Sandra Paynter Washburn she will be teaching Mixed Media, Maymay Helms from Maymay Made It.

The classes are varied from Stampscapes to Mixed Media.  There is something for everyone to get your creative juices going.

Big big big week at Simply Said Rubber Stamps in Loverland, Ohio.  I will teach 4 classes starting Thursday May 14 with Embellished Cards using Taylored Expressions rubber stamps from 6-9 p.m. Friday May 15 Stampscapes Cards For Men from 2-4:30 p.m. then Friday evening Stampscapes Blue Christmas from 6 to 9 p.m.  We are not done yet on Saturday morning from 9 am to 12 p.m. I will teach my very popular Copic marker instructional class.
I am not just a Stampscapes artist I can do all kinds of stamping techniques so come and experience all the different things I have to offer you.  During this wonderful week I have the chance to meet you and help you get the most out of your rubber stamps and tools and introduce you to some new things. I would like to tell you a little about some of the other teachers at this event.
Pat Niemth from Northwoods Rubber Stamps is doing 4 classes.  Pat's technique in coloring is unique and lots of fun.  I have taken many classes from pat over the last 20 years and I have enjoyed them and always seem to pick up something new.  I like to take classes even though I do teach myself.  It's good to put yourself back in the seats and hear about the class from the students point of view.  I believe I can address your needs and concerns about my classes better.  With that said I have also taken several classes from Barb Bruder.  I have enjoyed her teaching style also.  Her instructions are very good and she takes time to make sure her students are understanding the steps before moving on. She will be teaching for Impression Obsession. Her classes are not up yet we are waiting for them to be designed.  Please keep her classes in mind when making you selections.  Joe Rotella is from Create and Craft.  Joe's classes are top notch.  He is very well received where ever he teaches.  His students always seem to have a wonder experience in his classes.  Stampers and non stampers alike can relate to Joe's style of crafting.  Sabrina Somerby's classes are being designed by Elizabeth Craft and I am sure you will enjoy taking these classes to create some beautiful die cut cards.  I will try to give your more teacher and class infor in the future.  Please don't forget my Stampscape classes Winter and Water, Cards for Men, Christmas Mantel Card, and Blue Christmas Cards.  Don't delay if you want tickets for the Make and Take party Stamp the Night Away the tickets are selling very fast.
